TennisTV – Live Streaming Tennis App Reviews

Used to work fine on iPhone 4 iOS 6.1.3 (except for the lack of true "video output", which used to work before the last major makeover on the App interface). But its not working anymore, even after a reboot on the iPhone. Gonna have to restore the previous version from a Time Machine back up.

The app doesnt work in background. This means you have to let your iPhone unlocked just because a game and cant use any other app like Facebook whatsapp email etc. Schedule menu is not working. It shows nothing ! For now it still better to watch the games in your iPhone browser.

I love the picture on the iPad when it is working, but I am having connection issues, I dont See highlights or interviews it crashes when I try to connect but when it works its beautiful. The iPad is fantastic to watch it on so I hope it works soon.

I have subscribed to tennistv for several years and watched lots of good matches on MBP and iMac. It is a HUGE disappointment that this doesnt run on my iPad.

I subscribed to the Tennis TV app to access live streaming matches using an iPod Touch. While the news and highlights features work on my iPod touch, the live streaming feature does not. Have tested the app for 2 weeks and tried getting support to no avail. Tennis News and Highlights are available on other free apps. Only value in this app is live streaming and it doesnt work. Will not renew subscription unless this is resolved.

I have also installed this app on my itouch but unfortunately the live stream has not worked at all. I have also been unable to get any reply from customer support for weeks, which is what is really frustrating.

High quality stream on a 25Mbit connection. Beautiful.

Live streaming does not work adeqately on ipad. Customer support is virtually non-existent. A complete and utter waste of time and money.

This is a scam. I purchased it 48 hrs ago and have been able to watch about 30 minutes of tennis. It freezes constantly or the picture is out of sync with the audio. Have seen nothing today. Message keeps coming up that the live event is over yet I can see the score on other apps. I even had to uninstall and reinstall last night. This is a huge disappointment--pure crap!! Im giving it one star because I cant submit with none.

This app does not work with iOS 5, it constantly crashes and does not list any live events, highlights are not available since the app crashes whenever I select them. These issues need to be fixed immediately otherwise the subscription I am paying for is worthless. iOS 5 has been out for a few weeks now guys, you should have had an update out by now.

This app doesnt work at all on my iPad now that I have ios5. I used to love this app. It now its a source of complete frustration. I have found that I can still use the iPhone app on my iPad,intermittently,but it crashes when you try to see highlights and shows events that are live as "coming up". Customer service told me they are working on it two weeks ago...not hard enough if IOU ask me!

I was excited to be able to watch tennis on my iPad then nothing..... This app doesnt work. I got a refund with no problem. Too bad this app is no good.

A MUST for every tennis fans. Perfectly clear and no bugs ever, just like yourown TV screen. Worth every pennies.....Thanks again

I got this app for my mom so I havent really navigated through it. I subscribed for $10/month today in hopes of being able to view the French Open. I contacted customer service around 11am and received a reply within a couple of hours. Good customer service. It turns out they dont have rights to the Grand Slam events. I dont know enough about tennis to understand that based on the details listed in the iTunes Store and it wasnt explicit; so hopefully you read this before you make the same purchase I did based on my misunderstanding. I cant get a refund for the current month but ill be cancelling my subscription for July. No US/French/Australian Open or Wimbledon. I wouldnt be opposed to using any of these providers services at this point, it just wasnt right for me this time.

I bought an hdmi output cable thinking i could just plug the itouch into the tv at the hotel while I am away and watch the match on the big screen, unfortunately the TennisTV app has no button to start video output......... SHAME

Poorly designed, terrible performance, missing videos. Where is the catch up feature thats on the web site allowing you to watch recently finished matches?? I paid for a subscription, I should be able to watch the same videos no matter what device Im using. Scrap this app, find a new developer. I would give zero stars if possible. Update: upgraded to iOS 7, now does not work at all. Come on, developers have known about the new OS for months, plenty of time to make necessary changes. Well, my last review was zero stars... Negative stars should be an option.

I like the new look and feel but suggest having the ability to lock screen orientation in landscape mode. Also, would love to see Catch Up matches on the iPhone, not just on the PC/Mac. Hope the Grand Slams are available with your service in future. Keep up the great work TennisTV!

App no work. Im pay for what?

It will be great to add the catch-up feature that we can find on the desktop version. Sometimes there is a lag between the sound and the video while using airplay.

Adding the Catch-up is a must! It is really annoying to have to connect the laptop to the TV instead of using AirPlay from a mobile device! Converting the Flash to HTML5 shouldnt be a big deal!
